Bob Ho is on loan to the CIA from the Chinese Intelligence Agency as a spy. To his neighbor, and her kids, he is a pen salesman. Bob wants to marry Gillian and give up the secret life of a spy but her kids hate him and consider him the most boring man on the planet. Gillian explains it's a "package deal" -- all four of them plus the cat, the pig, and the turtle, or no marriage. When she is suddenly forced to leave the kids in his care, Bob discovers that being a top spy is a whole lot easier than making three unruly kids like him.

When one of the kids accidentally downloads a secret Russian formula, the Russian bad guys want it back and everyone connected with the family dead. Bob has to do his best to protect the kids and explain the mishap to their very angry mom.

There is plenty of action and fighting while staying within the bounds of the PG rating. The youngest tyke is adorable while the teenager and pre-teen makes the situation even more precarious for Bob.

It's a fun caper although I'd think twice about giving up the spy life and settling down if I were Bob.
