DEATH OF A PRANKSTER

By M.C. Beaton

Reviewed by Dawn Crawford

An old man with a sick sense of humour, who likes to play practical jokes, is not popular with his family. In fact, they are sick to death of his tricks, but they tolerate his antics because he is rich.

Hamish Macbeth gets involved when one of the elaborate jokes results in a death. Was it an accident or murder?

Although this book of M.C. Beaton's is about a prankster, it does not contain as many one-liners, as some of her other books.
