This is a long-running British mystery series based on characters from the novels of Caroline Graham. Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby and Detective Sergeant Ben Jones investigate murders in the not-always-sleepy English villages of Midsomer County.

There are only three episodes in this set. A fourth disc is included called, "Super Sleuths" which contains bonus material -- a documentary about the series in which John Nettles, Caroline Graham, and others reflect on the show's first decade..

"Blood Wedding" -- Cully's wedding day is approaching. As usual, Barnaby is distracted by murders elsewhere.

"Shot at Dawn" -- A family feud erupts when a disgraced soldiers name is placed on a war memorial.

"Left For Dead" -- A decades-old disappearance maybe be linked to the murders Barnaby is currently investigating.

Some episodes are more interesting than others but overall, these episodes are more entertaining than some of the previous ones. I much prefer the early episodes, but I realize, after 13 years, I'm luck the series is still going strong. And since DVD releases of this series in NTSC (Region 1, USA/Canada) format are two years behind what the Brits are viewing, I know I've got plenty more episodes to watch in the future, so I'm not worried if a few episodes are mediocre.
