I love the tag line on the cover, “Some women get everything. Some women get everything they deserve.”
THE LAST MRS. PARRISH is a psychological suspense debut novel written by two sisters Lynne and Valerie Constantine using the pen name, Liv Constantine.
Amber Patterson wants what Daphne Parrish takes for granted – money…power…and all that goes with it. Daphne is a socialite and philanthropist. Her husband, Jackson, is a real-estate mogul. Amber has a devious plan to manipulate her way into the Parrish family’s life and steal Jackson away from Daphne.
I have mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand, I enjoy a good story about a conniving woman versus a good, decent woman, even when the stakes are high like vying for the affection of one man, in this case the husband of the “decent” woman. However, I found the final resolution of THE LAST MRS. PARRISH disturbing.
