Mystery PI: The London Caper

The London Caper involves locating the missing Crown Jewels. Yes, they've gone missing again. This time the player will scour various London sites in search of clues.

This is a fun hidden objects game; challenging yet not frustratingly so. The designers have a wry sense of humor and you may find yourself scratching your head trying to figure out a few of the items on the list. The puzzles which reveal the "clues" to the caper are fairly easy (maybe too easy for some gamers' but were just right for my tastes).

As part of the Mystery P. I. series games, once you have successfully solved the "case," bonus materials are unlocked, including "Unlimited Hidden Objects" (my favorite!) and additional "Match 3" games. In the "Unlimited Hidden Objects" bonus the player gets to find all of the hidden objects in each scene as they appear on the list. Most scenes have between 69 and 80 hidden objects. In a couple of scenes I thought I still saw an item or two that looked "hidden" (like a bell and a gourd) but apparently weren't. Another plus, the bonuses may be replayed without having to play an entire new game and there is no time limit.

The list price is $9.99. I paid only $6.99 with an online discount.
