Hole in the Water
By Robert T. Kearney

Reviewed by Sue Johnson

Chuck is returning home to the island where he was raised. His heart is full of fear and dread. His father has died and he is going home for the reading of the will. True, Chuck is a man now...married and with a 16-year-old stepchild...however, the people that have known Chuck the longest revile him the most.

The author uses this story to slowly let out all the little secrets that have made Chuck so hated in his little island community and uncover some new problems that have been revealed with the reading of the will.

This was a very hard to read book and I felt like I was left hanging in the air in several places...

I would not willingly search out another book by this author. Sorry.
