Imagine if you will, after a recent car accident, you suddenly find yourself hearing chatter from your pets; a lizard named God(zilla) and a Doberman named Doomsday. Yes, after a conk on the head, Maggie can hear what the animals are saying. Of course she hasn't told anyone about her new "Dr. Doolittle" abilities. They'd think she was crazy.
She also hasn't told anyone about her new job. She is a hitwoman. The pay is good but she hasn't given up her day job, disagreeable as it is, because she needs it for cover. Otherwise her annoying aunts would be too curious about where she is getting her money.
Maggie Lee is a charming and engaging protagonist. I love the talking animals! Readers who enjoy a splash of humor with their mysteries will enjoy this neurotic hitwoman series. FURTHER CONFESSIONS OF A SLIGHTLY NEUROTIC HITWOMAN is a fast, fun, laugh-out-loud read.
The first book in this series is CONFESSIONS OF A SLIGHTLY NEUROTIC HITWOMAN (Avon, February, 2012). Other e-book titles in the Confessions Of A Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman series include: THE HITWOMAN AND THE FAMILY JEWELS (April, 2013), THE HITWOMAN GETS LUCKY (March, 2013), and THE HITWOMAN AND THE NEUROTIC WITNESS (September, 2013).
