Agnes Linton insisted she hadn't touched anything after finding Mrs. Weems in the lit classroom; however, when Officer Padgett
arrived, he had to turn on the lights in order to see the deceased Mrs. Weems. Caught in a lie, Mrs. Linton confessed to killing Mrs.
Weems out of the frustration everyone felt during each meeting Mrs. Weems habitually disrupted.
