MURDER AT HOLY CROSS

MURDER AT HOLY CROSS recounts the events leading up to the brutal murder of a nun -- stabbed 92 times -- the discovery of her blood-soaked body, the subsequent capture of her killer, the investigation, the trial, and beyond.
The body was discovered on March 21, 2001 at South Florida's Holy Cross Academy. The killer was an apprentice monk from the same academy. The police had little difficulty in tracking down their prime suspect. However, as the case unfolded through interviews with the suspect, it became apparent that something very sinister and sordid was going on at the academy...something almost as shocking as the murder itself.
The author is a true-crime journalist based in Florida. Hardcore true crime enthusiasts may find this book compelling, however, I found the writing style didn't appeal to me. The crime and details were interesting to a point, but it felt like they could have been adequately handled in an article rather than a book-length manuscript.
