DYING FOR A CLUE: A Jennifer Marsh mystery.
By Judy Fitzwater

Fawcett Crest, October, 1999 (paperback 224 pages) $5.99

Aspiring mystery writer Jennifer Marsh wants to get some hands-on experience and signs on to work with private eye Johnny Zeeman -- chosen because his name came last in the phonebook, not because of his stellar reputation. She has second thoughts when her first gig, at a fertility clinic, ends with her being shot at and finding herself eye to eye with a corpse.

The killers apparently think she has something they want, and she is soon on the run.

This is an entertaining and well-plotted book. I look forward to Jennifer's next adventure.

There are two other books in this series, featuring Jennifer Marsh. DYING TO GET PUBLISHED and DYING TO GET EVEN.
