DUST TO DUST is the seventh title in the Diane Fallon Forensic Investigation series.

Diane agrees to help an old friend, Ross Kingsley, a former FBI agent now working as a private investigator. His client's daughter died under suspicious circumstances that may be related to her brother's imprisonment nine years ago on charges of rape and murder. She may have uncovered evidence of his innocence which led to her death.

While anthropological forensics may sound dull, the author weaves a fascinating tale. The characters are well drawn. Even the secondary characters are memorable. Diane Fallon is a fiesty, intelligent woman who frequently finds herself in harm's way yet it doesn't seem forced or unbelievable.

I really enjoy this series. Readers new to the series can start with DUST TO DUST without fear of being confused. Fans of the series will be delighted there is a new adventure. I still think these characters and cases would make an excellent TV series.

Other titles in the series are: ONE GRAVE TOO MANY, DEAD GUILTY, DEAD SECRET, DEAD PAST, DEAD HUNT, and SCATTERED GRAVES.
