Mama Stalks the Past

This was a very readable book. The setting shifts between Atlanta, Georgia where Simone Covington, a young African American woman works and her parents' home in Otis, South Carolina. The Mama in this story is her mother Candi...a social worker in this small southern town. Peaceful it is not. Miss Candi's next door neighbor has died, by poisoning no less, and Mama is tied to the murder.

I really enjoy mysteries set in the south and this one was no exception. I am going to enjoy looking for other books in the Mama Series...
