The Plank family, Amish citizens of Painters Mill, Ohio were found brutally murdered in their home. A small-town Chief of Police, Kate Burkholder, herself formerly Amish, must solve this horrendous crime.
There are many twists and turns and many suspects. It was a very good read. I could hardly put it down until I had finished reading the entire book!
This is the second book in the series. SWORN TO SILENCE was the first.
