Join us at Left Coast Crime 2009 (March 7-12, 2009) on the Big Island of Hawaii.
We know you want to be there--who wouldn't want to attend a convention in Paradise? The committee is actively working on an incredible program that will really make this the Unconventional Convention.

PLAN NOW: We're planning trips three days before and three days after the convention, as well as some trips during the convention itself. Visit the Volcano, snorkel, see the petroglyphs and more. Plan to come early and stay late. Read our blog at: http://www.sayalohatomurder.com/

HOTEL: We've locked in great rates at the Marriott Waikoloa from March 4 through March 15, 2009. The rooms are going quickly. We advise you to register now for the convention and for your hotel room. Rooms at this rate will sell out. http://www.leftcoastcrime.org/2009/hotel.html

PROGRAMMING: So what kind of programming will we have? A forensic track like you've never seen before; an interactive track that includes special events, interactive panels and sessions including Birds of a Feather (small group discussions), and much, much more! Our meetings will take place in conference rooms, at the bar, and on the beach. In addition to great mystery content, we'll have special sessions devoted to the flora and fauna and culture of Hawaii, so bring the whole family. There will be something for everyone.

Interested in programming? Panelists, session moderators and others will be on a first come, first serve basis. Let us know what and who you'd like to see and hear. Registered attendees should send ideas and requests to: LCC09Programming@aol.com

READING: Prepare for your visit to Hawaii by reading mysteries set there. Check out our list: http://www.leftcoastcrime.org/2009/hawaii_books.html

REGISTER: The convention fee is $200 until March 9, 2008. $225 after March 10, 2008
Check out our website for more information and to register. http://www.leftcoastcrime.org/2009

PROMOTE LEFT COAST CRIME 2009: Please spread the word about this unconventional convention. Let us know if you'd like postcards or bookmarks or registration forms for your reading group, library or bookstore. Any special friends you think should be on the list to receive information?
